What kinds of submission are welcomed?

Eligibility

Authors must be currently enrolled in high school (grades 9–12 or equivalent).
Submissions must be the original work of the student. Collaborative work is allowed, but all contributors must meet the eligibility criteria.
Each student may submit up to one papers per issue.

Manuscript Requirements

Length: 1,200–4,500 words (not including bibliography or footnotes).
Format: We accept .docx files. Please use the templates, located here.
Please highlight all references and italics in a visible color.
Style: MLA or Chicago; use footnotes as needed and include a bibliography.
Language: English only.
Originality: Plagiarism or AI-use will result in automatic rejection, and only previously unpublished work is accepted.

Review Process

All submissions are double-blind peer reviewed by trained high school editors
Decisions within 4–6 weeks: Accept, Revise & Resubmit, or Reject
